Just got a call from the same number. The message I received told me to log onto verizonthankyou.com for a $100 towards my next phone bill. I checked it out and as much as I could tell the page was a mirror image of the actual verizon website. The difference was in the log in menu, which looked similar to Verizon's site, but asked for more info. The links on this fake page seem to send you to the real Verizon page from what I could tell.
I received the same call from 303-731-3432 today. Same thing from Verizon stating that I qualified for a $100 rebate. This was reported in the news in Ohio recently as a phishing scam. Do not reply, as it is not real and it is just people who are trying to steal your information. To my understanding, it has been happening with quite a few Verizon customers with Ohio numbers. I'm not sure about other states.
I received a phone call from (303) 731-3432. The recording stating I was receiving a $100 reduction in my next bill if I redeem it in my account at myverizoncash.com. This site looks a lot like the real verizon website, but it isn't.
Its obviously a scam. Once you login, your login information will be sent to the stupid hackers trying to get your info. There is no such thing as free people. Block this number.
It looks like the recorded message is giving different websites.....same # called me with the same message, only it directed me to the website www.myverizoncash.com........working website that looks a lot like Verizon's.
