I received a call from 303-997-1107 from a "Roger Black" that claimed to be an Officer stating that I have a federal case against me. He gave me a case number but before I would allow him to identify anything about me I asked him for his badge number which he gave HB19275407 and when I asked what district he reported from he replied with hesitance, Denver 30 Jefferson. I googled it and there is no such district so as he tried to continue his identification process he read off a complete social security number which totally floored me. I flipped out telling him that I'm not confirming anything and being a so called officer of the law he should know better then to ask for confirmation using a full social verses the last four digits. I demanded to speak with his Sargent which of course he refused but he tried to tell me he knows the law better than I do but obviously not. I ended the call by telling him to cease and desist any further calls or I would press federal charges against him and the real company he works for violating the FDCPA.
Just got a call 30 min ago. It seems these are coming from a number grouping from 1106 to 1108 and others. You can't do anything about it, I tried. There are programs out there that get any info on any person registered with a land line or cell phone. They have tried getting "Brandi Clark" with my cell number for 3 years now. Don't answer!
This exact thing just happened to my mother over the last few days. Several calls to her cell phone and another to her work. She has been very upset over this. They even use profanity and joke about how there is nothing she can do about it.
What can we do? Does anyone have any ideas? Even the police will not do anything, we filed a report yesterday.

Got a voice mail message last night from a Jacob Martin. I have had these calls before from a California number. The previous calls all stated I had a case against me for taking money from a payday loan company and refusing to pay it back. These clowns had my social, account number and address. Lucky for me the account number was one digit off and has since been closed.
