We have received 4 calls from this number. We do not push any numbers that they request to be pushed. Message states that this is the last call we will receive regarding our credit account and lowering the interest rate. We call this number back each time and it says it is a disconnected number. We have reported this number to donotcall.gov 4 times now and still get calls. donotcall.gov is not doing their job.
I have already reported these people to the FTC. They have been calling my number, which is on the Do Not Call list, since early December 2008. When I first answered the phone and saw what kind of call it was, a pre-recorded message telling me this was my LAST chance to lower my credit card rate, I hung up. And I ignored the call the next few times because I recognized the same number. But there's only so long you can ignore them. So I waited to talk to someone. They say they are from a company called Credit Card Services and when I told them I did NOT solicit their call and for them to please take me off their calling list, they hung up. I have asked them 3 times since December, including today, 2/2/09. And same thing today, as soon as you tell them no, you are not responding to their offer, and you want them to stop calling, they hang up w/o taking any info about you. So I immediately reported them to the FTC and also filed a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry site today. The FTC told me to tell everyone that are getting calls from this number to please file a complaint. These people are misrepresenting themselves.
Royjean, I just received an unsolicited call from this same number, and found your post on the internet. How do you report them to the FTC, can you post the phone number? Or better yet, email address?
