I received a call from "IRS" stating that I was delinquent on taxes and they were going to send cops to my house to arrest me. We returned the call and talked to someone who didn't give his name. We told him we'd already taken care of the issue. We called back 5 mins later & they just hung up the phone on us.
Called this number back and told them to remove my name from their list. Woman with foreign accent asked why, and I said "because this is a scam you are not the irs". She replied that they are an "investigation company" and that they "never said they were the irs". So awful that these people are using scare tactics to scam.
They stayed it they were calling from IRS investigating team and I should call them within 24 hours I called them back and told him I reported them to the police they hung up in my face
