received many calls from this number claiming to be from the IRS! Different callers men and women. complete scam! I hang up on them. They keep calling.
Robotic female voice : " time sensitive we are calling you from investigation team of IRS. We have just recieved a notification regarding your tax filings from the headquarters which will get expired in next 24 working hours . And once it gets expired after you will be taken into custody by the local coach [coats/cops ?] and/as there are serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment . We would request that you get back to us so that we can discuss about this
case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 763 273 8129. I repeat, 763 273 8129. Thank you."
I got the very same call saying the local COATS would take me into custody. They called 4 times in one day. I had the number blocked. The call came from Florida. Last year I received a similar call from New Jersey.
