The (305) area code is Miami Florida, where I live. I think that your advise is really stupid. I get calls from (305) every single day and they are not scammers. Don't you think it is bad advise to block the whole area code? What if you live in that area code?
Just received a call from the above mentioned telephone number. No message was left on our answering machine. I called it back...including the *67 prefix...and...I reached a reorder (a fast busy signal).
who can I call to report this number? they called 2 times today and at least once a day for the last 2 weeks. Now its getting annoying. I agree ignore and maybe they will go away but this isnt happening. I would like to know who can I call and report this?
Reporting these callers will do little or no good, as they, as most scammers do, use spoofed (false) numbers, that are difficult or impossible to trace. It would be best to block the number. Look into blocking the number, either through your phone, service provider, or the purchase of a blocking device. Blocking of the ENTIRE 305 area code is preferable, as a disproportionate number of scamming calls are placed from there.
