The (305) area code is Miami Florida, where I live. I think that your advise is really stupid. I get calls from (305) every single day and they are not scammers. Don't you think it is bad advise to block the whole area code? What if you live in that area code?
Called today. Answered the phone before I looked at the number. They knew my name. Wanted to do a survey to "determine if you qualify for legal aid". 3rd time they have called. Reported them to the FCC Do Not Call site AGAIN. Next time I get a lawyer and start making some money off of them.
If you have an android phone you can go to your call log and hold down the number and a menu will pop up. One of the selections is "reject this number". You may see the number on the log again but your phone won't ring because the call won't go through. I love this feature and it works like a charm!!
