No one else reading this page can ''keep these people from calling'' you. Your caller is not going to dutifully study random forum complaints and cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments.
These forums are for call recipients to share their experience and optionally offer advice. They are *NOT* direct or private channels to the phone bank boiler rooms we comment upon. If you can provide a business name and/or details on the caller's stated purpose, you might get a more helpful response.
These people are probably scammers because after a few questions I can't figure out what company they are with or how they operate. I am pretty sure they are trying to get you roped into some deal that is a scam of stealing your personal information.
Keep getting calls from this number. About 3-5 a day. Finally picked up and no one answered or said anything. I am not going to call them back . Is there anyway I can block this number on a land line? It's just good to know that they must be scammers of some kind....just not sure what they want. Just be careful and never return calls from people you don't know!!!
I just got Panasonic landline portable phones & they have built into their computer program to block tele #'s. It's a wonderful feature! So when the unwanted caller calls your home, it will ring once & display "blocked call" & disconnect the call. But you must make sure you have "caller ID" on your phone so u know what the unwanted tele caller's # is to put into your caller block feature. If you don't have this you should get a phone that does cuz it's so worth it!
I finally answered the call after they called several times for several days. They asked if we had a home security system. I told them no and to take us off their list, but now I'm afraid I may be a target for a break in...
