They are not supposed to be calling at all if your on the federal DNC period. However, it doesn't stop the illegal ones from doing just that. And yes, they are supposed to place you on a internal DNC when asked also. Charity's, some survey's and political calls are exempt from the DNC and debt collectors have their own set of rules under the FDCPA laws.
ROT, don't answer calls you don't recognize.. And when answered, never give out your information or say yes to anything.
Call back of number states mailbox full for California Energy Solutions. While filing complaint, I found two different addresses. 281 N Peach Ave, Clovis, CA which listed as electrical, and 5353 Treosh Pl, Valley Springs, CA listed as solar. It's too bad we all have to put up with these calls daily and that they hang up as soon as you answer. Being on the do not call list is of no use.
The caller called us@ 13:02, 10/12/2013.whie I was in backyard. It left no message. I returned the calls , It has message, only California Energy Solution is English. The rest are Spanish. I cliché operator. It cut me off..As so many people filed reports with www.800notes.com
