This number was used in a fake tech support scam. Google "EVENTVWR SCAM" for more details. I understand it is most likely a pass through number for fake tech support scammers in India. Caller claimed to be from Dell support and wanted to take control of my computer to supposedly remove (install) malware and charge me to remove it.
It is a Scam posing as Dell, they know information about your computer service code #'s. Sounds legit, but beware the talk you into internet access to computer tell you the have been getting error codes, show them to you then transfer you to another person that tries to sell warranty. they know when you bought computer, and when your warranty expired. SCAM DO NOT TAKE THIS CALL. They knew my office phone number and called me there. Dell has been informed, maybe more computers as well.
Caller stated my computer was sending emails to Dell support and that someone was trying to hack my computer. They had my email address, know what kind of computer I am using, I told them I would call them back.
