Same here, same number.  Thank you folks for saving me time and aggrevation.  I was concerned just based on how poorly the guy spoke english for a phone support representative.

Just got a call from this number.  As the previous comment, it seemed like a fake caller.  Do not listen- just hang up.

Have calls coming in now. Say they are from Dell, and malware is showing when you log in.  Man with foreign accent, probably Indian.

Dell does not make phone calls to anyone unless the client initiates the call; or they are following up from a previous call the client initiated. I have done business with Dell for over 20 years and that's how they operate. Also. if they call in regards to a client request and no one answers Dell techs always leave a short phone message in addition to an email.

Scammer posing as Dell Support.   When I informed him I no longer used a Dell PC, he said he would "take my name off the list."    Sounds legit and they seem to have some real info, but they are scammers, presumably located in India via the faux LA number.
