Yes... me too. IRS stated... funny thing is... I'm waiting on a huge refund from the IRS... ain't no way I owe the IRS.... they over taxed and I have a letter stating they are processing my refund. Real scam... recorded haltering speech message. The IRS will write you ... registered letter... the end.
I received the message and called it back, what everyone has posted is exactly what was said to me. I do owe money but not what they claim and all of a sudden the amount was lowered to settle out of court. From $3000 to $300
I received the same message from the man with a foreign accent, saying that the Treasury Department had initiated an action against us. He said that not returning his call is a federal offense. This is definitely a scam!!!
