After getting all of their info about their illegal operation, I turned them in to DoNotCall.gov and the California State License Board for violating contractor sales protocol.
They keep calling and hanging up on my answering machine. Two calls in the last few days.
I am on the do not call list which seems to somehow been transposed to the 'please call me list' because everyone and their brother are calling my unlisted number. No clue where they got my number, its so frustrating.
They also have an 805 (Santa Barbara) number that they're using. I've had the call blocked for a while, but they still call several times a week. I was able to identify them when I called back on the number that was ID-ed. They were "sorry" but their "mailbox is full". Duh! First it was calls from "Hi, I'm Diane! Do you need your carpets cleaned?" (from a disconnected number- can't for the life of me figure out how they did that one!! Then it was the damned "extended auto warranty" scam. Now this crap! And I love the touch about me allegedly asking them to call me back after we spoke several months ago. The government REALLY needs a better way to go after these clowns!! Anyway, the 805 number is 805-284-6670.
These scum bags called again today. Unfortunately, I was busy working on a project and could not give them the "courteous" responses they so richly deserved. I hope their little feelings were not hurt.
