the carrier of the phone number is Pac West Telecomm Inc in California. I called and made a complaint. They gave the emails to send your complaint as well to get it on record via email.

Major Kudos to all of you (especially The Saint) for posting this most helpful information! I've been receiving simialr calls from these people claiming to be with a law firm and threatning to have me arrested if I don't comply with their demands.

I was at my wits end because I certainly was disturbed by the nature of the calls and I could'nt undestand the callers English well enough to even attempt to resolve this fraudulent "legal matter." Needless to say, I Googled one of the many phone numbers they are using and found this thread.

I shall take heed to your advice and ignore the calls.  Also, I plan to file a formal complaint with the local and state authorities in Virginia.

I too received a call saying that I took out a payday loan (which I didn't) and that if I did not repay it they were taking me to court. I called back and asked for "John Wilson" obviously not his real name because of the HEAVY Indian accent and let him know that if he did not stop calling and harassing me that I would contact the authorities. This did not deter him in anyway and he said that he would call me every couple of minutes until I paid up. After I gave him a piece of my mind (mostly cuss words) I hung up. Then.......I called them back every 30 seconds or so, I asked for John and he wasn't available so I talked to Patrick, the next call it was Dan and so on, until it seems like they have blocked my number from calling them anymore...oh well. If they call back, which it appears that they wont, I will continue to call them back.

i live in florida i got a very scary call at work and cell phone person stated that i had a loan and owed 547.00 also stated that i needed a attorney and mut call back very quickly gave two different names same person they had all my personal info name cell and work phoen address social they really scared me when to bank reported to them they said if i do not pay will have to go to court also stated that i would be recieving papers at home and work and for a future court date really upset what do i do next help they aslo said that i would be arrested what do i do next ?

I received a call today from this so called attorney. Once i googled the number 310-359-0445 i realized for sure its a scam.So, i called them back....again, and again, and again, and again...ect. until they answered and i told him to get the d**k out of his mouth and rambled on about how they are having gay orgies and how much of homosexuals they are (i was very detailed) for about 2 min then they hung up on me....how dare they?? so, i called them back, again, and again, and again, and again...ect. until they answered. Finally, i got to tell "Robert Vlann" (at least tried to until he hung up on me) that I'm not interested in making a gay porn with him. I then proceeded to call again...this was becoming fun. They must have disconnected something because it no longer rang...it just hung up....i was disappointed.
I hope they call me back :)
