I just got the same call. I've gotten calls from a similar scam in the past (it was a NY area code at that time). I asked lots of annoying questions, for which "Mark Robinson" did not have any answers. I'm hoping if I ignore it, they will go away.
The sad part of this scam is that the people calling are probably in a call center in India making no money - while some jerk scims all the profit and moves on.
I asked them for their mailing address and was told "1345 Chulo Vista Dr. in Victorville, CA 92392"
I checked this address through usps.com zip code lookup - it doesn't exist.
So I called them back, saying that my attorney wanted to mail something to them but needed a PO Box or alternate address. They promptly hung up on me.
MENTION THAT YOU WILL HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY CONTACT THEM and you will not hear from them again.
A John Winston from Health Associates (310) 359-0445 Ext. 2787024 called my daughter at work as well as on her cell phone number. He told her that if she or her attorney did not return the call immediately to address "the issue" then GOOD LUCK. This pattern is very like that which has been reported by many others with regard to this number. Since her father is a sheriff's deputy and I am an attorney we told her not to respond and we would take care of it. Of course we are unable to get through on the number they left for her "immediate response" nor is a message able to be left as the mailbox is full. She owes no money to anyone and has never used the Pay Day type service that others report this scam may be associated with. We are very concerned about how these people have her work number and believe it may have been a visit to a hospital urgent care that resulted in the information leak.
To others: It is very important that you do not give these people any information. IT IS A SCAM!
