This number calls repeatedly. A lady on the phone asks for me by name and then when I answer, no one will respond on the other line, there is just silence. It is extremely annoying not to mention creepy. If someone knows a number I can call to report this, I would appreciate it!!
Said they were Publisher and that I have won a sweepstakes. I told her that she is calling a private number and she hung up on me. They asked for me by my name.
I received a call from this number today. They knew my name and my home address. Said they were telling me I was entered into a contest to win $25,000. I asked how they got my cell number and they said through my credit card company. I asked for the name of their company and they said Publishers Headquarters in Redonda Ca. The woman said I could check them out with the Better Business Bureau. It's just freaky when someone calls who you don't know and has information about you. What do they want?
I actually answered, asked who was calling - her response was Sarah with Publishers...told her the party she wanted to reach was asleep and she quickly hung up.
