This number called my cell while I was working. Didn't leave a message, so I didn't call them back. From reading other posts, and from a similar number calling me recently, I'm guessing the credit card company that did it was Capital One. Anyone else agree?
Also on the Do Not Call List, but reporting them won't work if you have a legitimate business relationship with one of their partners. Sucky loophole, I know.

Hard to say whether we should be concerned or not... sometimes people are alarmist... but you can never be too careful.
I got called from this number too. When I answered no one said anything, all I heard was background noise. I called the number back and asked them not to call me anymore. The only credit card I have is capital one, so I'm going to assume that was how they got my information. Not cool.
I have recieved several calls from this number also. I have 2 Visa cards and a Discover card, but have NEVER had a Capitol One card, so it can't be them. I suppose it's possible that they are getting them from multiple card companies, or they could just be using that as an excuse. I am also on the Do Not Call registry for my cell phone and they still continue to call me on it.
