i have us cellular and i get the stupid texts all the time all hours of the night as well but i have tried to reply "stop", "stop all" and i never get the confirmation text that i have cancelled. they keep sending them and nothing works! please help!!!!!
If FREE411 wasn't trying to steer people towards subscribing to these text services, they would reword the request so that it said "If you want more information about ____press the star key"... There must be something in it for them. I had $2 worth of texting charges to cancel two services after using Free411. The company is unapologetic and says that we need to listen to the whole message before pressing a key. I won't use them again.
I'm still getting charged for these annoying, unwanted hiphoplite text messages. I tried replying to them with "stop" but still hasn't worked yet. I guess I will keep trying. This is really starting to tic me off. I'd be willing to join a class action lawsuit against these jerks in case any lawyers are reading this out there.
I'm coming to this a little late. I keep getting the HIP HOP messages and cannot send a STOP message. I've tried it to the number that is sent to me and to the 445-66 number. I've tried Frengo and they say they don't have my phone number listed. It's cost me a ton on my phone bill. What can I do?
