Huge scammers!!!! Yesterday he was Jack Dawson and today who know who he is. He left me two voicemails this morning threatening me. First of all if there were pending criminal anything against you they wouldn't hire someone like this to call you and warn you first...duh. if you take out a loan and don't pay it back it simply goes on your credit or collections and they can get a judgement against you to collect but they cannot press criminal charges against you. So these guys are just idiots. Ask them to send you the proof in writing (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 (b) that your claim is disputed and validation is requested.) also let them know If your offices are able to provide the proper documentation as requested in the following Declaration, I will require at least 30 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist. Also, I would also like to request, in writing, that no telephone contact be made by your offices to my home or to my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or correspondence sent to or with any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. All future communications with me MUST be done in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by USPS. This should take care of them.
I have recieved about 6 to 8 call some at home others at my place of work...he told me his name was Kevin Carter ...go figure...and that he worked for the attorney generals office..I had several felonies for a internet loan...connected to Money Mutual....Cash now or maybe Cash advance....with all the fees I owed it was $2369.00 but I could pay him $435.00 to stay out of court...I told him I didnt have a loan..he then went on saying all the trouble I was in...he gave me this number to call him back 646-808-3080 he all called my house using a strange accent....here is the number they used to call my house w/ 310-693-2406....he just called chewed me out..I told him I called the Federal Trade Commission and the B.B.B....he then started cussing me out...saying he was gonna Fxxk my wife...and crap like that...I could go to hell...blah blah blah....I told him he was in so much trouble..The F.B.I. should find out whats going on w/ this scam...it hurts hard working people like myself and my family...
I keep getting the same calls at home and on cell phone. It started about 1 month ago ssying I owed $400.00 on an internet payday loan from cash advance.If I gave him my debit number and paid it off nothing would happen. If not a warrent for my arrest would be sent to my employer and I would have to then go to California to court and it would then cost me $1200.00. I told him as we have a cash advance in my town why would I not go there and apply for pay day loan if I needed one. Am saving all voice mails from them
Today his name is Shawn Anderson. But get this, last week he was Mike Jones and he was trying to sell me a $5000 line of credit. I gave him the Commonwealth Attorneys Number (my attorney-LOL) and he called back and said the number didn't work. Save your VM and report them. They are called debt-buyers and basically they hack your info in many ways and try to scare you with it. Don't do online payday loans, especially the "match services." All they do is sell your info.
I got a call today from this number at work and home. It was a someone with a thick accent telling me if I didn't call back I would be arrested. I called the number and first it stated that the mailbox was full. I called later and spoke to someone name Travis. He asked me for my attorney's name and I gave it to him. He then asked for the attorney's phone number. I told him that if he was an attorney he would know how to look it up. He said is your attorney a criminal attorney. I ask why? He said because this is a criminal matter. I told him that I doubt that was true and hung up. I want to find out how to report these people. They are frauds!!!
