I received a phone call from them and they were looking for marketing. I thought it odd that someone from CA would be calling us at 7am in the morning but I stayed on the line for as long as I could. I couldn't hear anything and the line would go dead from time to time. I have no idea what she was looking for. She seemed a bit upset with me after the first 3 minutes of me saying, "I'm sorry, but I cannot hear you." It was more than annoying. I'm curious to see if they call me back in an hour like they are claiming to do.
I got a call from this number directly to my extension. Between the caller's accent, butchering of the English language and the poor call quality, I could barely understand a word she said. She asked for the IT manager (me) and said something about "CDW something something would you like to sign up?". I asked who this was and she said "Whitepaper Weekly" and asked for my email address. I declined, said I wasn't interested and hung up.
This number call our business, but apparently the southern sounding man had his phone on mute, because he wasn't hearing anything I was saying.. but I heard him talking about a pillow that a female said was his, but he said it wasn't because it was too poofy.. then the call was lost. Sweet dreams cowboy :-)
Got a call from this person asking for "IT Manager." Connection was very poor and the person on the other line barely spoke English. I sent them to our call center located offshore. I'm sure the rest of the conversation was a hoot!
I've gotten a call from this number today and yesterday. Today after 20 seconds or so I had someone say "Hello is this the international fire desk run?" twice. Needless to say, I'm actually NOT the international fire desk run.
