I too received previous calls from a carpet cleaning company, and have now received a call from this number as well. It is really starting to bug me. Somebody mentioned this seems to happen with AT&T, but I have T-Mobile, so I don't know the cell phone carrier is the problem.
This same number called my mobile at 12:30pm Pacific Daylight Time. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. It looked like a local number (310-948-532x) but with a missing last digit. I looked up the country code and it's coming from the Netherlands. I tried calling the number back but it told me that it's not necessary to dial the "0" for this country. When I tried it without the "0", another recorded message stated that I need to check the number and dial again.
As long as my personal information and credit card information is not being obtained, then no worries from my part.
