Its not a scam people, its from university of walden or any other oversea university you might have registered or you was linked to. You can pick up the call and listen without talking at first then when the person at the other end talks then answer and they will tell you about the requirements to studies oversea without paying anything.
i got a call today 25th of Nov 2009. Somboby told me he is from Liverpool uni. he told me my cost will be around £12000.
i dont believe such a big amount only for one programme?

is this caller is genuiely room university of liverpool. and also does that company called laureate is affliated to UoL. can someone confirm this caller id
This number called me 5 minutes ago, it is SCAM number nothing more, nothing less. I picked the call nice but the other end was not talking for exactly 5 seconds then droped. I guess the scammer was trying to size me up financially and with my accent he's convinced I am not his "meat".
I never applied for University of Liverpool for your information.

I received a call from this number and staight away I knew this was not a UK number. It originated from Holland and google maps gave me the street address and location. The lady on the other side of the line asked questions about my interest and immediately approved my application. I raised an eye brow on the matter and kept stalling, waiting for the catch, finally, she asked for me to pay and in a hurry. I tried to call the number and the univerisity of liverpool to confirm this and there was no answer. There is obviously something fishy going on here and since I have no way of proving it, I declare this to be a scam untill proven other wise.
Kindly beware that anyone from an educated institute will not write an email with poor english. Will easily approve your application, will keep calling you again and again.
