I have been getting these calls regularly. Today I asked again to remove my number and do not call again. I was told he would not remove my number and he would call again. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told "no" I would talk to him first. As I was hanging up he muttered something about $34.00 a call. There must be a way to stop these calls. It will not be answered again. Caller ID was Brill Street L
Jacka$$es just called me, 8:30 AM on a Saturday. Wife WAS still asleep. Heard a thick Indian accent from some guy named "John," (yeah, right...) as soon as claimed he was from Windows and calling about my computer, I hung up.
Got a call from this jackhole at 8:23 a.m. today 4/2/2016. I was asleep, but have a caller I.D. phone by my bed. Noticed the now recognizable New York area code 312 (lots of scammers call out of that area code) and ignored the call. My new Tele-Zapper device hit 'em when it went to voicemail. ***BEEP*** to their autodialing system and it tells them MY phone is disconnected. I got this device about two weeks ago, and it has cut the nuisance calls down from about 20+ per day to now just one or two, and hopefully soon to be ZERO! I love my Tele-Zapper!
A guy with a heavy foreign accent called my home number at 8:55am and told me that my computer was hacked and that he needed to access it. I said, "This sounds like a scam to me!" and he replied, "You sound like a f---ing mother f---er!" and hung up on me.
Called before 0730 and said he was from "windows" and that my computer was hacked. When pressed he said he called early because this was very important. Had a strong accent. was very rude when told not to call back.
