receieved call from ash law firm req i submit money over the phone to take care of toll fine. contacted state AG and will file complaint with them. the threat of drivers suspension and lost drivingprivleges is not legal and they so stated.
I kept receiving calls they kept hanging up so i called to see what was up, the man was nice, he removed my number as they were not even looking for me.
keep getting the sam calls as well about toll ticket don;t evan answer them anymore. I think it a huge scam, but they say they have my car and in and photo of violation . But i havent been in chicago in 10 years.
Robo call. Answered, heard a pre-recorded message. When a live person picked up, I asked what her name and phone number was and what company she was calling from and she hung up on me. I promptly reported them to FCC.
This number has called multiple times since, never leaving a message until last week. Message said, "We have called several times to reach *** and we have not received a return phone call. This is an important matter for ***. Please deliver this message as soon as possible. Have *** call Miss Grant at 312-604-7187. Thank you. Goodbye." I just reported this to the FCC.
The caller ID says "LAW OFFICE ASH."
This is pretty clearly a scam. I've run multiple searches trying to find a law office by this name in Chicago and nothing but information regarding a scam comes up--of course, there are many law offices with Ash in the name, but none have this number listed. When I've performed reverse look ups for the phone numbers, I just get more info about this scam.
