I looked this # up and found it connected with Stellar Recovery, Inc a debt collector. I checked them out with the Better Business Bureau. The following is from their site: 'This business handles multiple national accounts including COMCAST. As a collection agency, they are required to abide by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The Federal Trade Commission, the federal agency in charge with regulation of these type of businesses, has consumer information about debt collection that may be viewed here: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection'.

312-462-0206 is being used by Stellar Recovery Inc.,
a company "which acquires charged off" debt.

More often than not, charged-off debt is NOT ENFORCEABLE.
And as you can guess, blood suckers who buy such unenforceable
debt usually have to resort to methods which either constitute
harassment or are very close to being harrassment, in other
words they almost always rely on unlawful practices.

In these days there is a national pandemic of telephone
terrorism perpetrated by hordes of desperate unlawfull
collection agencies and by an array of scam artists of
every despicable sort.  They are trying to terrorize
people who are naive enough to answer and submit to
unsolicited telephone calls or written "collection" letters
that have no legitimate legal debt associated with them
or any of the companies, or whomever else they claim
to represent.


REMEMBER:

No collection agency has the right to harrass people
who are behind in paying their bills.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act [15 U.S.C. § 1692]
provides clear statutorial protections from phone harassment
and other abusive debt collection practices.

Moreover, DEBT COLLECTORS DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO CALL
people who have requested that they not be called. You only
need to send your request IN WRITING to them. If they don't
comply you can sue them for violation of the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act.

these a**holes have called my fax machine several times, undoubtedly seeking someone else. I don't have accounts in collections nor seek payday loans. you would think that they would get a clue, but no! seems like they don't think for themselves...probably high school dropouts, employed by unscrupulous collection agency.

Called asking for someone who does not live at the residence.  Do not know how my phone number was associated to this person, real or fictional.  This was an unwarranted, unwanted call.

Finds your cell phone # and robocalls at 8AM when on DNC list with the standard identification request greeting.
