I have received two of these calls within about 1.5 hours of each other tonight alone! I actually answered the second time just to see who it was, and no one answered me, but there was noise in the background until they hung up. I tried calling the number back, and got a message telling me to hold while they accessed my records then told me to put in the 10 digit number they used to try to contact me. Yea, like that's going to happen! If they call again I'm telling them I'll file harassment charges if they don't stop. I don't have anything in collections!
I received a call from this number that went to my voice mail. The person who left the message said they were with the FBI and asked that I return their call. I was curious because they didn't ask for anyone in our house by name, and the caller's ID didn't identify the number as government owned. I called back but the number either just rings or I get a message that the voice mail can't accept more messages. I don't know if this a legitimate call, of if it's just a scam.
