You really have oversized blinders on. America is a socialist country, as is any working society (recognize the same root word?). Why do you think we were all required to take "Social Studies" in school? Without social programs, there would be no towns, counties, states, schools, postal system, law enforcement, fire departments, roads, bridges, etc. etc. etc.
And, you're also leaving out the reality that Republicans controlled our state legislature, and governorship, for 30-40 of the past 70 years.
Then, almost as though on cue, you toss in God, as if that's got anything to do with governance.

Rauner's robocall came in a second time today! I figured one call would be all I would get and didn't block it the first time. It's blocked now. Regarding the comment about Rauner not being required to purchase the DNC list, so what!?! Folks on the DNC don't want to be pestered. That should be obvious from the comments here. These calls are no different than a telemarketer as his political machine is trying to sell him as a candidate. I think a billionaire can afford to purchase the DNC list.

If you think a billionaire egomaniac, who bought himself a governorship, cares one iota about job creation or improvements in education, you are sadly delusional. As for fiscal responsibility, the guy is Romney-lite. These Saturday morning robocalls are only the tip of the iceberg.
Bruce Rauner is a great American? From whence do you derive that -- all of his time in military uniform? Or his plethora of philanthropic enterprises? How about his efforts to help feed the poor and lift them out of poverty? Oh, yeah, all the service he has performed giving back to our Country? Keep looking -- you won't find him being accused of ever doing anything for anyone other than Bruce Rauner.
