Message left on voice mail was to let me know IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. Also left a phone number for me to call back for more information. ....SCAM.........
Same automated voice message left from Bainbride, WA last week. After returning the call, I spoke to a person with a strong foreign accent who claimed to have information regarding my Federal Tax Evasion case. He had my last name but needed my first name to verify my information before providing details regarding the case. After I refused to provide my information, he got upset and told me to hang up. How absurd.
Called 5:53 in the morning! Display says "Out of Area." They left msg claiming to be IRS informing of lawsuit against me. Received same recorded msg on 2/05 from 206-451-9512. THIS IS A SCAM.
I just received a call from the IRS...well, someone who said they were from the IRS, anyway. Last week, I received a call from someone else in the IRS, and he stated that I owed OVER 4900 $ to the IRS. I asked for proof, and he hung up on me. Today, I received a call, and it was another person supposedly from the IRS...so, I decided to play a game with them. I asked them how much I owed, and why the cops didn't arrest me LAST week when they called...so, now I owe just a little bit OVER $2000, from years 2009 to years 2014. I asked them if I filed joint or single...they said single. I made a WRONG ANSWER sound, and they got all huffy. I asked them for proof, and they said they're going to send me an arrest warrant in the mail. Then he hung up.
I called back about 20 minutes later, and got a woman who called me a scammer, a cheat, and an [***]. I told her that all I wanted was PROOF that I owe the money. She said, oh the police should be at your house as soon as we hang up. I asked her where they were going, and she couldn't give me that information. She said the GPS will tell the police department where I live, and they'll be here soon. I told her I had a few more questions, and she told me not to ask her any questions, that SHE'S GOD, and whatever she says the public does.
I also told her that I already called the IRS, and because I owe NO money, SHE owes me the money for my time and troubles. I told her it's going to be $2000 a minute, with a 5 minute minimum. I bet they don't call back anytime soon.
