Received a call, no message.

If you have recently done business with SF Weekly or within the last 10 months and have started recieving phone calls from CTP North America, or from persons posing as Wells Fargo or any other banking institution, please indicate so on this forum

It is my firm belief after recounting and recording event dates, that SF Weekly is involved with selling customer information to marketing firms. I am preparing to have an investigation launched to look into alleged unethical business practices conduced by SF Weekly, and would like to know whether others have been effected.

This is a scammer using spoofing to block his number and show a random number. Do not answer, do not give out personal info.

CPP North America is a telemarketing company.

They sell Identity Protection plans and pose as "Wells Fargo" to get you to answer your phone.

Numerous calls that leave no message on the answering machine come from the following CPP North America telephone numbers:

Please note the company name is CPP North America NOT CTP North America as many posters have stated.

Also, contact Wells Fargo Bank and give them the contact info for CPP North America.

My family received a call from this # CID identified it as Well's Fargo. It was at 11:00 am est. time.  When they said I was not there and asked if they could take a msg. the phone was hung up quickly by Wells Fargo (supposedly).  Typical scam call.  BEWARE!!
