Got a call from this number. No one on other end. When i called the number back, a recording said "call is no longer in service". How can a number be no longer in service if they just called?
I called this number back because I have family in the area, but a recording came on saying "this is a non-working number". If it's so non-working, they need to NOT work my number
I just read a book about "information mining" companies and the call was really creepy after reading that. I don't bother anyone and I don't appreciate being bothered.
I recieved a call from 312-900-3159 at approximately 4:30 p.m. on 11/30/11. A female with a Middle Eastern accent ask if she could speak John, she had the correct first name. I asked , "Who's calling?" Before I could say another word she began a sales pitch for financial assistance(loan) for adult education, at that point I hung up. I called this number back, and a recording stated, "Your call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and try your call again."
This is a group of people using a voip service that call and use different ways to try to get you to give them your credit card number. its a scam and there not even in the us. there are two things that you can do. first call your phone service provider and have them block all voip calls. second buy a air horn, and when you finally get someone to answer use it. that really pisses them off.
