Same as other reports, said there was serious legal action, and asked for someone I did not recognize. They said they would take my number off "the list". Not sure what the purpose of this could be.

Received a call from this John Thomas he left a message about a serious matter but doesn't state for whom he is calling for. If it's that important why not send a correspondence via mail or state why it's important. Bottom feeder about past debt I suspect. Don't waste both our time.
Another scam, the old "strong arm you into paying a bogus debt by threat of litigation" trick. If they had the capacity of a law firm they would know they cannot legally give that type of info in a voice-mail and they wouldn't warn you that they are attempting to serve papers. Didn't even bother to state what company they were with.
I received a message on my voice mail and it was a guy, saying it was a legal matter, but didn't say who they were looking for! Didn't say the company's name!
