Same as other reports, said there was serious legal action, and asked for someone I did not recognize. They said they would take my number off "the list". Not sure what the purpose of this could be.
some john thomas called and left a voicemail stating they had my name and social with some legal issues. i called back and it went straight to voicemail.
A "legal matter" but yet its from a city and state that I've never been to. Called 6 days in a row, same recording every time...so I just ended up blocking it.
Same message over and over that is exactly stating the same from John Thomas. Name and ssn but no statement of for whom. Out of Illinois area code. Blocked this number. Do not call back because it is a SCAM. He is illegal and phony.
ILLEGAL low life scammers. Trying to scam you pertaining to a saying they are process servers and they are calling pertaining to a"legal mater that came across their desk naming you as a defendant in court"... riiiiiiiiight! I asked if they were process servers why would they call and not just SERVE ME PAPERS. The scumb@g said they are trying to settle this criminal case. I said it isnt a process server's job to settle criminal cases but that of a prosecutor. They hung up. So I called back. They kept hanging up the phone on me and finally blocked my number! I tried reporting them to the bbb but they refuse to give you a legal address. People, pay these low life scammers no mind!
