Received a call on my cell phone. I never answer unfamiliar numbers but I do run straight to 800notes to look up this number. Soooo, seems like someone wants to extend my car warranty according to these posts. Hummmm, maybe I WILL answer the next call. My car is 18 years old with 232,000+ miles on it. A new warranty is just what I need right now. I think I'll play with their head a little when/if they call back.
The number was called at my office which I don't give out to anyone. If this is ref: a warranty on a car then I purchased a NEW car in 2009; extended that warranty but it has run out. However when I purchased the car AND did the extended, I did not have the work phone number that I have now. Somehow they got this number.
Got this call from this number, I live in Arkansas, but I have Family in Detroit so I answered not knowing if it was family. Because my office phone forwards directly to my cell phone I always answer my cell with the name of my company, as soon as I responded I think whomever was calling thought it was a business address and hung up. I called back from my office line and got a recorded message about entering my number to be added to a do not call list.
