This "charity" pays the MAJORITY of any donation to a paid telemarketer, usually (as in my case), the call was made by Innovative Teleservices). If I choose to donate to a cause, I will NOT be making any donation through a paid telemarketer!
Before even considering a donation to this entity, try reading this: give.org/charity-reviews…. Give.org is the website of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance & the report was just dated February 2015. They can't even get this Foundation to provide information to them!
Using the Foundation's online 2013 Tax Filing, they have 133 employees. Innovative Teleservices collected $3,483,982 on behalf of Childhood Leukemia Foundation and they were paid $3,078,771 for their "professional fundraiser" services! A paltry half million was also paid to another company ( for fundraising services!) That is out of the $5,707,498 the Foundation received in 2013 from gifts, grants or contributions. So how much actually goes to help the children with leukemia this foundation is supposed to support? In my humble opinion, no where near enough- this Foundation really creates a substantial revenue stream for the paid telemarketers.
Very sad. This is why I do NOT contribute based on phone solicitations.

Recieved a call from these scambags wanting you to donate your car to vets.
Block this number from your phones and the scambags will have to spoof another number to call you back!!
Caller ID said DETROITZN6, no voicemail left. F.u.c.k.i.n.g. pigs called before 10am on a Sunday while I was asleep. Thankfully had the ringer turned off, too many similar a.s.s.h.o.l.e.s. have done this in the past. I got my sleep and they got ignored. F.u.c.k. them all, bunch of scammers and scumbags.
The call just came through but was sent to our v.m. and no message was left. We do not answer ANY calls if we are unfamiliar with the number anymore. Our son had the same number on his cell phone 2 days ago!!!
