Receiving numerious calls from this number (and others) asking for an employee, by name. I am do not release any information, but they are very diligent in pressing for information. they call more than 20 times in a row with the same questions. They claim to be from the PCS department of New York.... What is the PCS Department of New York??????
I keep receiving calls from these people from several different numbers threatening law suits and prosecution. I can't even understand half of the message. The man has a very thick middle eastern accent and claims to have the name Tim Anderson today...last week it was something else. I have added the call blocking feature to my phone for an extra $4.99 a month so they won't call a thousands times a day!! I guess I'll add this latest number. This is ridiculous...how can they be stopped????
These jokers have started calling my wife at work, home and cell numbers. We all know it is a scam but one actually seemed to have her full SSN so she setup fraud alerts on her credit. In the mean time, I got the numbers they gave to call back and called them back to tell them if they continue to harrass her I would personally hunt them down and choke them with their own turban. Told the dumbass that we know it is just a stupid B.S. scam and to stop calling. When I called back and hit hard right off, he started mumbling and just hung up. So I just kept calling back and tieing up his phone. After 2 or 3 more calls he told me to shut up and stop calling then just disconnected my calls.
Go get 'em Donna. Have some fun with it, get brutal. What are the going to do? NOTHING!! They can't do anything except try to intimidate and threaten people who do not call their bluff. I have gone to calling back over and over just to tie up the line. Unfortunately, reporting a line or even tracking the area based on the number is likely to be ineffective since there are services that will allow for anyone to get a number showing whatever location they want and run it over the internet like a voip, and they could be showing a number in Beverly Hills and sitting in Baton Rouge. (never mind that they all sound like they are probably from Calcutta)
I continually am being harrased by this company who claims they are the Legal Departement of the United States. They claim I owe an unpaid debt but cannot tell me who its for. They have the last four of my SSN, my address, work number and credit references. The callers name is Eric Brown, this man has a very thick accent and when asked couldnt tell me who the president of the United States was. There is alot of background noise, it sounds as if they are operating out of an airport! I have reported this to the FTC & the Atty General of Oregon state. T
