A foreign man called promising $1 million prize, and asked for bank name, balance, etc. He claimed to be with the Publishers Clearing House. His number was 315-696-1315. He is targeting elderly veterans.
They just called me saying I received a federal grant of $9200 and that I would have to call 646-583-1927 to receive my money. It is a scam the federal government wouldn't call to give you a grant you never applied for.
I just got a call from this number that i didnt answer. They left a message that was a foreign guy asking if i spoke english. I only have the generic voicemail message with no talking so he obviously wasnt talking to me. There was a lot of noise in the background then he started speaking spanish mixed with english. All i could understand was "You are very big and dont speak english ok?". Caller id showed new york.
call from foreign woman claiming to be from the United States Dept of grants. Said I did not understand what she was saying made her repeat her statement about 30 times. She got angry and hung up.
