Called my cell phone, which is on the DNC list. Claimed i was randomly selected for a $9K grant from the government. Told him he was a scam and I was calling the police. He hung up. Next time I will answer "Police Dept" or "Illegal Immigration"
I received the same call today from the same number. I told the gentleman that answered the phone that he, I meant to say they because a female called me earlier and left a partial message. Anyway, I told him that he should be ashamed of himself scamming people out of their money and that he should pray. I pray that no one falls for this or any other scam. Time is hard and getting up in the morning to work is no fun when you're a little up in age. These people can do the same even if it means selling cans to survive. Anything should be better than a dishonest living where people are cheated out of their hard earned cash. You would think the gov has means to do most everything else it seems but nothing about the most critical things like protecting hard working citizens from scammers like this or at least make the punishment harsher.
