Automated call claiming to be from some bank (couldn't catch the name) and said that my credit card or debit card was now locked and to press "1" to talk to a representative.  Another SCAM trying to get personal information so they can go on a spending spree with someone else's $$.

They called both my husband and I, almost exactly at the same time on our cell phones.  Our cells are registered, unlisted, listed on the do not call list, and we NEVER give them out.

It's obviously a scam.  The message got cut off on my voice mail, but it said my card had been locked and to call the number.  You know it's a spam bot calling because of the instant calls, and most likely illegally spoofed.

My wife's ID showed 317-215-5321, Greenwood, IN.  On mine it showed nothing but "0000000" I also have voicemail translation sent to email, and it showed up as "unknown" but gave an 800 number to call back.  800-900-9789.  This is all cross referenced with research as the same scam. GRRR!!!

The voice was also some crappy digitized, computerized female voice.  These are worse than solicitors.  DO NOT call any number they leave you.  You never know if they have some kind of funky auto-reverse charge set up to charge your home or cell.  Seriously.  Seen it before.  Either that - or they're fishing for more private, secure info.

I received a telephone call from this number at 7:16pm EST on Sun, July 24th (just a few minutes ago). The automated voice informed me that my debit card was locked, and that I should press 1 if I would like to speak with a representative to unlock it. I was then asked to enter my 16-digit account number, which I worriedly did, but became skeptical once I was asked for my card's expiration date and I hung up.

I do not believe that they have enough information to use my card without my exp' date, security code, and/or pin, but for future persons who are called: DO NOT give anything out- this is definitely a scam.
