Pressing any button seems to put me in a queue to talk to someone, but never seems to go thru.
I'm on the do not call list, which would be enforced by the government, excepting that the entire bureau has been gutted by the last administration. Not to worry though... when I find the location...
Block the phone numbers if you can . Internet phone can block them all, landline phones like panasonic can block up to 30 numbers.
These people are bottom feeders real creeps. They are criminals and use all kinds of tricks to get your money. Never talk to them no matter how attractive and nice the voice may sound. Hang up.
"Rachel from Credit Card Services" calling for the 2nd time. 60 mins earlier received a call from her at this number: 888-777-5544 and pressed 3 to "Stop receiving calls". I have also filed a report with the FCC, whatever that will do. I've been on the Do Not Call list since 2007. The kicker is - we paid off all our credit cards early last year and closed all the accounts.
