Automated dialer with recorded message from Jessica at a VERY vague "Card Services", offering to lower credit card interest rates. Connected to live agent, requested name of company, agent mumbled "Accelerated..." and would not clarify when asked.
RED FLAG: A company that refuses to identify itself, this is most assuredly a credit card scam. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION TO PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU. If you receive a call claiming to be your credit card company, ask for an employee name/number and then call the number that is on the back of your card and verify.
Telling this morons to remove you from their database/call list etc... will be pointless. Scammers don't care about the law, so they won't follow it.
Also, NEVER EVER register for a "Do-Not-Call List". They only stick your info out there for people just like these. Your name is on a list. This list is accessible by companies. Bad companies/scammers use these lists as CALL LISTS.

This number has been calling me about 3 or 4 times a day!! I have caller ID so I do NOT pick up.
When the answering maching kicks in they just hang up without a word.
Freaky. I called BELL Canada to block the number but they will charge me $6.95 per MONTH!!! So sad. I AM IN London Ontario too!!! Has been going on maybe a couple weeks now. What can I do??????
Recorded message regarding lowering your credit card interest rate. When I was connected to a live agent and asked to be taken off their list I was told "It's not gonna happen!" and was then hung up on.

Dialed the number back, and got the "this number is not in service" message. Called the company that owns the number, Paetec Communications, and informed them that their number is either being spoofed, or the culprits on the other end have that number directed to their own fake "not in service" recording...
STAY AWAY!!!!
