THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or your personal ID.

Also they called me over and over again using a fake name of Harry Miller. "Harry" called me so many times at work today that finally I started having my boss listen in on the calls and eventually take the call when I could not get the guy to stop calling even after telling him that I had filed a report with the FBI, FTC, etc. He called me stupid and told me I was "going to be detained." Right there screams fraud.......you can't be jailed for consumer debt and you if you are a real debt collector you can't call people names or harass them by calling them at work after you've told them to stop. The collector eventually stopped calling after I put him on with my boss.........after he told my boss to fire me, which my boss had a good laugh over.
this is a scam do not give them any money once so ever and report it to the local police department and the FBI. Both my friend and i are having the same problem. they are 100% a scam.
