callled my home phone, my work phone, and me cell number all today...claimed to be the Federal Crime Enforcement Network and claimed to have a case against me, warned me of dire consequences if I or my "recorded attorney" did not call back. sounds like such a scam
I got the same call from 911, didn't answer about being a primary suspect in a urgent financial case matter. I called the number back. when i asked what company the the number belonged to, i would then get placed on hold. I finally called one last time using *67 to block my number and noone answerred. I looked online to get info on FCEN. LOL. FCEN is there to require financial institutions to assist U.S. government agencies to detect and prevent money laundering. nd to report suspicious activity that might signify money laundering, tax evasion, or other criminal activities. Specifically, the act requires financial institutions to keep records of cash purchases of negotiable instruments, file reports of cash transactions exceeding $10,000. Mostly to help safeguard from supplying money to fund terrorist activities. the lady that called me was named kimberly krall. this is a total scam. I called the FCEN directly from their website, noone knows of these people.
Complete scam, i got the same call & did the same thing. Go FTC.gov and report it!!!!! in my case he was "officer jack yates". also go back to your card holder & try to get charges reversed!!!
I got a call from that FCEN today. I'm glad I googled those impostors! They can have fun leaving me messages. If they call your employers that is harassment and they can be reported. Her name is Kimberly Cross, maybe the same person who called some of you.
