I recieved a call 3-23-15 from someone with a thick India or similar accent.  She said her name was Annie Johnson, 323 238 3868  and said my daughter had a legal action started aginst her, she mentioned an arrest warrant.  She said she was from the Department of Legal Affairs US Treasury.  Unfortunately, I passed this message along to my daughter, who was totally freaked out by these goons who insisted she must get to a bank immediately to pay $6,000 to avoid immediate arrest.  Please tell us how to prosecute these theives.

A Jennifer Lincoln called and left a message for me to call her back. When I called back a man with a thick accent answered and would not let me speak to miss lincoln but kept telling me that she was an associate of his. When I asked a second time and he refused I told him that I guess it wasn't as important as they made it seem in the message.

Same scam as above. Heavy accented man identified himself as James Howard, Dept. of Legal Affairs, U.S. Treasury. I said that the person he was calling for (actually me) was not in - would he leave a message.  He said there was a legal action pending against (me) and that he should be called back ASAP.
Did a quick internet search for the phone number he left 323-238-3868 and found this page.  Just reported the incident to the IRS phishing scam email - [email protected]
Needless to say, I will not be calling back.

I received a voicemail message on 3/24/2015 from a Annie Johnson from the Department of Legal Affairs.  She told there was an enforcement action against my name.  She told me to get in touch with her immediately.  In listenting to the message I could hear the background noise which sounded like a call center.  Today, I googled the Department of Legal Affairs and the telephone number 323-238-3868 and found that this is all a scam.
