This is not at&t phone company, they are using several numbers now, they want info from you, and also 210-255-3192 is att, the real at&t should be doing something about this if you value your customers
I get calls from this number on a regular basis. The caller never says anything, and the caller hangs up once my answering machine responds. If I pick up the phone and don't say anything, the caller hangs up. I assume that it is a robocall that requires a live voice on my end before the software will route to a "live" operator.
I have been getting one call per day from this number. Usually, I am not home to answer the call. I was home today. I decided to answer the phone buy on one was there. My caller I.D. said ATT
FYI,
1) Don't even pick up the call ----- you are not obligated to talk to anyone on unknown phone numbers . Surely you don't open unknown e-mail addresses, do you?
2) if it's important enough your unknown caller should leave a message
3) if you happen to answer the call and the caller is a telemarketer, or is rude or pushy just say "hang on a minute" ( don't even wait for a polite opening ), put the phone down, and later, hang up when you hear the dial tone.
TIME is the most valuable asset to telemarketers so the longer you keep them on line the more likely you will be removed from the contact list. DON'T TALK TO THEM !!! It works for me !!
