This is not at&t phone company, they are using several numbers now, they want info from you, and also 210-255-3192 is att, the real at&t should be doing something about this if you value your customers
I receive calls from this number at least twice a day. The source of the call is AT&T marketing. They never leave a message, and when I actually answered this last time (just a few minutes ago), I said "hello" several times and nobody replied. I could hear call center type noise in the background, and I actually heard the person on the other end give a heavy sigh. I waited on the line until they hung up. I called the number back and went through automated prompts to get my number on their do not call list. Hopefully this will solve the problem once and for all!!
So far I just one hang up call yesterday at 1:35pm. The Caller ID said AT&T. Whether it's really them or a scam, I don't want to talk to either. If I want additional services from AT&T, I will call them. You can't be sure who's really calling you anyway. They are probably just trying to sell me something I don't even need or want.
I agree with Al, I don't answer unknown callers, and just cause someone is calling you doesn't mean you have to answer the phone.
Someone told me these calls centers literally make hundreds of calls an hour, more than they have operators. They know the odds of someone answering is remote, so they call a lot of people. When a live person responds, it is supposed to switch you to a representative. But it doesn't always work which is why you get that silence when you say "hello" a few times.
Just signed up for basic AT&T landline and the phone keeps ringing off the hook. 2X / day . I'm going to contact their customer service peeps and tell them if they call one more time, AT&T will be losing my business....AGAIN.
This number is a scam, caller Id has it as ATT, the caller tells me he is from AT&T. We had called AT&T once before on this number and it is reported and AT&T said, IT is NOT AT7T that is making the calls it is a SCAM and they are looking into it.
