Received another call from Dean Walker with the Department of Legal Affairs threating a class action suit against me. contact their office at 323-250-0720. People if the government is suing or bring a class action against you, they will contact you by mail. Do not fall for it.
Just received a call from this number (323-250-0720).
Man with an Indian accent said he was calling from the US Treasury and they are holding a case against me.
He said I need to call back right away. Since it is after 7pm on a Thursday evening, I expressed surprise that the office is still open. He said yes, they would be open until 8pm. I need to call right away. I asked for an officer name and he told me "Jason Bean." I asked for a case number for the "law enforcement" case against me and he said he was not authorized to give it.
I also asked why I have not received anything in the mail about this and could I wait to call until regular business hours next Monday. He said no, it is urgent that I call immediately and it doesn't matter that I have not been notified by mail.
The number that he told me to call is the same number that my caller ID displayed (and identified as Los Angeles).
That all seemed too weird so I did an internet search on the number and found this site.
Same as the others, claiming to be department of legal affairs, a Dave Chong or Thompson not sure which, due to the thick Asian accent. He called at 7:07 PM. I haven't received anything in the mail so I am not calling back.
