Don't get your hopes up too much. This certain outfit might not call you again, but rest assured, others will be. The "Cardmember Service" scam NEVER goes away and there's probably many using the same name and spiel. It's not a consistent running scam, there are delays, but it gets going again. The only way to completely beat (like any other scam) the likes of Cardmember Services is if NOBODY takes their calls in any way.
Approximate 10 daily calls 3 days in a row from 323.318.3009 and answer a few on the 3rd day and they immediately hang up. I called the number from a different ph and it gives the auto message to opt out to remove the number. I didnt do that, because you don't know what kind of data is being collected for you to opt out from calls. It appeared a scam, so I today I decided to skiptrace a bit on internet and discovered this site ~ THank God for this site and your comments, its been very informative. I got taken in 2013 from a company called Birchwood Financial supposedly out of Chicago Ill, for a loan and ask to wire money $850 to Insure the Loan of $5,000 .... Wire to Manhattan NY to Anthony Hudson, Got Nothing soon after the website and ph taken down. I think they pop up again and again over time. I had a Family Emergency attempting to get this loan and ended up Losing the $850 I had on Hand! These people are International setting up these sick schemes. Please Be Aware, I trying to Be More Aware then before. THankU!
Credit Card Services / Rachel called me yet several times over the past few weeks. At least a year ago, I asked them a few times to stop calling me on one of their other scam numbers. Since then, I have refused to answer an unknown number. I would encourage people also to file a Complaint to FTC (Do Not Call complain database) instead of just reporting it here.
