This one I've gotten on both of my phones that are on the do-not-call list and they are work numbers. It is from a Credit Services company trying to offer their interest rates on credit cards. I know it's a scam cause it says "there is NOTHING wrong with your credit accounts"...lol they don't know me very well obviously.
I once got a person when I pressed '1' for a live operator and the man was rude and pressed buttons in my ear when I told him this was a business number and on the d.n.c. list. the 2nd time it disconnected me after pressing '1'.
Automated robo-call with a prerecorded message comes in for the third time this week, despite my "pressing 2 now to be removed from our call list". When you press 2, the call hangs up on you. They then call back the next day. Have reported them to the Do Not Call registry and am posting about them whereever I can. Slimy business tactics.
Just got this one and googled the area code-- Los Angeles. Didn't call them back after reading all the above comments (excellent site, y'all!) My phone's a cell that I just transferred my landline-# to after dumping my landline; I put myself on the do-not-call list, but it takes a bit to become active or so I'm told. -__- This # sounds like a phishing scam if I ever heard one.
