It still violates the law.  If a call center who works for multiple clients gets a dnc request, it is supposed to cover ALL of their clients for ten years

Indeed, they violate the TCPA on every call they place after you've asked them to stop calling.  All the 30 days and per client removal BS is illegal and just another sign that you are dealing with scam artists.  But, if you stick around after the fake "enter your number to be removed" crap when you call this number, they do give out an address you can write to.  I had to listen to the thing 3 times to get it all, the minion talks so fast (intentionally, I'm sure).  They claim you have to write them in a specific format, i.e. give them ALL of your contact information and also information about the call (date, time, #).  I imagine this won't get you off the list either since they'll just say something else illegal, like, "oh, you wrote 'dept' instead of 'department' and that disqualifies your request".  But in any case, here is the address:

Don't Contact Compliance Officer
Telemarketing Division
PO Box 96503
Dept# 15060
Washington, DC  20090-6503

I'm sending a certified return receipt letter to them today, and also filing a complaint at ftc.gov.  I doubt anything will ever get this call center shut down, but we can hope the government will enforce its own laws...

By the by, I played around with the minion that answered when I pressed 1.  I pretended that I was stupid and was all, "yes, help me.  My credit card number is (fake number).  But it doesn't work anymore.  They cut it up.  Can you send me a new one?  Oh, you're not my credit card company?  But you called me and said you were...No, I haven't made any payments for 3 months, that's why they cut it up.  No, I'm not Miss <our company name> (hahaha).  Oh, you can't help me?"  But she'd already hung up.

Got same call as others from "Credit Services" of Atlanta Ga. When I asked the representative for street address, phone number, etc., the call was disconnected (he hung up on me). I called number on Caller ID (323-429-7522) and got same recording from company calling itself "Marketing Plus" as others who have posted on this page.

Marketing Plus and its clients are clearing violating the Federal Do Not Call laws, but with current administration in the White House, it is unlikely that the federal bureaucracy has any interest in enforcing these laws. let's hope things get better on 1-20-09.

One suggestion:

File a complaint at the Do Not Call Registry:
