Just got a similar call. Very threatening. When I call back, I keep getting told they'll call me back. Says they are Baker's Law Firm. The number is in Linde, AL. I'm going to report this to the Atty General in CT
I received this phone call 3 times same thing will have you arrested , i don't owe on any loan went to the internet and looked the number up. glad i did.
I just started to receive these phone calls yesterday but I turned the tables on him. I started calling him back blocked every 10 minutes. He stopped answering the phone and I contacted the police & my lawyer.
Be sure and put fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus and notify the FTC. Though they are not able to prosecute the criminals who are making the calls from India, they are going after those in the US who are funneling money to their operation and seizing their assets. i got a call too! they told me i was going to jail too and i'm a deputy. just tell them you are going to the police and contact a lawyer. be serious about it when you tell them or they'll keep calling. report them
